I decided to take part in the "Eternals" competition.
The concept is an urban dark fantasy set in a post-Soviet setting. Suddenly, people began to be born all over the world with the ability to perform necromancy - communicating with the spirits of the dead and resurrecting the dead - with certain skills, of course. This inexplicable ability was very soon integrated into society: teams of zombie workers worked without days off or breaks, and only the necromancer foreman received a salary; archaeologists have the opportunity to receive answers directly from representatives of ancient eras, and the police now solve murders with a 100% guarantee in the presence of a corpse. But this is in prestigious areas, but gangs of street necromancers roam around the suburbs and outskirts, terrorizing citizens with resurrected homeless people and bandits who have been buried in the forests since the 90s. The police fight these racketeers ineffective, the government turns a blind eye - and the gangs are becoming more and more bold - they can break into a high-rise building and rob apartments. Only those houses where necromancers live can sleep peacefully.
Lina is a teenage girl, 17 years old, lives with her grandmother on Narodnaya Street 4, entrance 7. She is not the youngest necromancer, but not the strongest either. One dead man is no longer an easy task for her. But it just so happened that she was the only necromancer in her building. And, as luck would have it, a local gang of necromancers breaks into her entrance almost every night, robbing pensioners with the hands of their zombies. But everything changes when, using her skills, Lina discovers a crusader knight, whose corpse, covered with silt, rested in a swamp near Lake Peipsi... It seems that a miracle really happened - now at entrance No. 7 there is a defender in an ancient chain mail, with two ancient swords and a red cross on the cloak, which seems to hint - “there is no way for outsiders!”.
